Roy was a thoroughly likeable, relaxed and humorous man, always with a smile on his face, and was a dedicated Rotarian. In 1996 when we had an unfortunate gap in the succession for President he readily agreed to step up and became President for the second time, a typically kind and generous thing to do. He was also a brilliant dentist. A true gentleman and a great loss to so many people.
